Celine Dion: World Tour!

All I can say is Celine is out making history and I got to go see her!

The Celine Dion-Taking Chances world tour is well underway and is sold out in stadiums in all major cities across the United States!  Tickets for this concert in New York went on sale over a year ago as it was promised to be a spectacular event!   Can I say that the Celine Tour did NOT disappoint!

My friend Sara who is a HUGE Celine fan got tickets and arranged for the historic night to happen!  The concert was held at Madison Square Gardens here in New York.  Can I just say that everything about his night was amazing!  Lets start with the Stage because it was absolutely insane!  It was360 degrees in order to ensure that there was not a bad seat in the house, and can I just say that there wasn’t!  Second, the dancers were incredible!  If you have been to her show in LasVegas, I would say that the experience was very similar to that in that she shares the stage almost the whole night!  There is always something to look at and these dancers have got some serious moves!  Third, Celine voice is phenomenal!  I mean this girl can blow the top off of any stadium!  She has got some serious pipes!

All I can say is the night was amazing!  If you haven’t seen Celine in concert you should “take some chances” and do it!  I mean the girl has sold close to 200 million albums around the world since her debut in the United States in 1990 and is only one of the most successful performers in pop history… I promise it is worth it!

Sing it!

Celine makes the craziest faces when she performs, if you have seen her in concert you know exactly what I am talking about, but lets be honest she is so good that she can get away with doing whatever crazy stuff she wants… and she does!

Its All About Jason!

Everyone has been asking me about Jason, so I thought it was time to do a post all about him! Since we have a long distance relationship not all of you have had the chance to meet him yet, hopefully that will change soon but until then, here is a way for you to get to know a few things about him.

Where to begin? I guess the best place to start is from the beginning. Jason was born in Provo, Utah and has just one older brother (Tyson). He just turned 26 (birthday was in Aug) and currently lives in a newly developed area in Springville, Utah. He built his house about 2 years ago, that he loves, which is located just off of the 2nd Springville exit. He works as a software engineer at a firm in Orem where he develops flash and flex modules that bring the features of desktop applications to web browsers (even attempting to say that was scary, babe did I get that right?) 🙂

Now that we have the basics out of the way, lets talk about the fun stuff! There are so many things that make Jason who he is, and I love so many of them, since I can’t list them all here are just a few…

If Jason thinks something is really funny, he will laugh and keep laughing until his eyes water.

He is a fanatic about his hands being clean, he can’t stand to have them feel dirty or to go a few hours without washing them (don’t worry, my friend KA is the same way!)

His favorite time of the year is Fall… babe, this is your season!

His favorite food is Chinese or Mexican…this works great because these are my favorite too!

His favorite color is orange, makes sense with his favorite time of year being fall!

Jas loves quotes, his favorite one is: “When you want what you’ve never had, you must do what you’ve never done!”

Jas has a great relationship with his mom, dad, brother Tyson and his sister in-law Aimee. Since family is so important to him, and a big part of his life, Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday… it’s all about quality time and being with the people you love.

One of my favorite things that Jason does is when he looks hot in an outfit he always folds his arms over his chest! The picture below is a PERFECT example of this! I love you babe, so hot!

Of course the facts above about Jason are causal and funny, however the reason why I love him go far beyond the way he laughs, his favorite time of year, or the way he takes pictures. I love him for the person he is and for all the little things that make him-him. I love you my babe… thanks for being you!

Boston!

…Boston!  We finally made it!   What an awesome weekend! We did all of the classic tourist stuff, from the Freedom Trail, Paul Revere gravesite, to Harvard University.  KA and I played so much that I can’t even begin to blog about it all, I just don’t know where to begin! Check out the pictures below for a quick overview of what our weekend was about!

Hanging out on the Boston Bridge

I love this picture!  This is right outside our hotel room…we’re hanging out on the Boston Bridge.  The bridge leads directly into downtown Boston where KA and I spent most of the day having one adventure after another!

Fenway Park – Life is Good!

As you can see I have changed my outfit to match the city that I was in.  At the beginning of the day I was sporting a pullover shirt that had a NY on it, but I quickly realized that I probably shouldn’t be wearing that since we were going to be hanging out at Fenway Park.  I bought the popular Red Sox attire at a gift shop right outside the Fenway Park.  I felt much better after making the switch.

Freedom Trail

The “Freedom Trail” is a very popular tourist attraction for those who visit Boston.  The trail takes you on a indoor/outdoor guide were you get to see the16 historical sites throughout the city and covers two and a half centuries of America’s most significant past.   You know you are on the Freedom Trail because everywhere you walk there is a red brick or painted line that connects to all the sites.  If you stay on the trail you will get to all the site with no problems. Below KA is walking along the trail…see the brick.

Let me tell you, there were a couple of times that KA and I decided that we knew how to get to the sites better and faster then if were kept on following the trail… just checkout below what happend everytime we went off on our own!

…Yeah, we had to stop and ask for direction a lot!  I have to say that my favorite part about traveling with KA is that she takes “the wheel” when it comes to tourist stuff!  For example, the whole day we spent in Boston, KA planned… All I have to do is show up and I know that I am going to have a great time, because KA has done all sorts of research.  She knows how much things cost, where to get maps, the most popular places to stop and see, where the best places are to get ice-cream… I mean who wouldn’t want to travel with someone like that?  Oh man, it really is the best!  KA, thanks for being the best travel agent ever!

I am so glad KA and I are still friends after all these years!

Feeling Free on the “Freedom Trail”!

(…I’m not going to lie, after being on the  “Freedom Trail” for a couple of hours I wasn’t feeling very  free!  Seriuolsy, I was trapped and there was no escape! KA was on a mission for us to see all the sites and let me tell you… when that girl puts her mind to something it will get done!  But it never stops me from making a few serious attempts to convience her that we should go back and hangout by the pool… do you think I ever win that battle?  I dare you to go on a trip with KA and find out for yourself!)  J
